A Non Governmental Organization Standup for Women Society has called on governments at all levels to provide free healthcare for children from age zero to three years.
The state Chairperson SWS. Liberator Muslimat Itopa made the call when the group paid visit to the Children’s Ward at the Specialist Hospital Lokoja in commemoration of Children’s Day Celebration.
Liberator Itopa said there is need for well do individuals and government at all levels to reaffirmed their commitment at providing a world where children can have access to quality health care, Education and a chance to strive.
He explained that the free healthcare for children from age zero to three can reduce the rate at which children died of treatable diseases.

She praised the state governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for building and consolidating on the achievement of the past governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello in making health care accessable and affordable for all.
The State Chairperson Standup for Women Society also commended the CMD Professor Yahaya Adagiri for the ways and manners he has been managing the hospital .
Speaking, the CMD Professor Yahaya Adagiri commended the initiative of SWS for supporting children at their time of need, saying the prayers and items would go along way in assisting the children.
Professor Adagiri called on other organisations to emulate SWS by give back to the society.
Mrs Medinat a woman whose child was on administration commended the Organization for their gesture at remembering children at the hospital and prayed God to continue to strengthen the association to a greater heights.
Standup for Women Society is an organization that brings women together under one Umbrella to speak with one voice and advocate for the right of women and children.
The organization cut across the thirty six state of the Federation including FCT Abuja.
