Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly Condoles With Gov. Bello Over Demise of Ohinoyi of Ebiraland

The Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Umar Yusuf has commiserated with the State Government, Ebira Nation and Nigerians over the demise of the Ohinoyi of Ebira Land, Alhaji Ado Ibrahim.

Yusuf who stated this in a press statement, described the death as a huge blow to the entire nation in view of the place of the Ohinoyi in national history.

He said the deceased was a man of peace, love, bravery and the definition of true royalty in modern times, noting that the state will miss his wisdom, tenacity and unifying disposition.

While extending condolences to the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, he also condoled with the APC gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and other members of the state executive council.

The Speaker also used the opportunity to commiserate with his colleagues at both the State and National Assembly from the Central Senatorial District, and prayed Allah grant the soul of the revered Royal Father eternal rest in Jannatul Firdausi.

Yusuf enjoined Nigerians to pray for the repose of the soul of the late paramount ruler, calling on the family and loved ones to accept that death was the end of every mortal, and prayed Allah to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
