Participants at a one- day seminar on the review of the National policy on Micro, Small and Medium -Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) has been charged to work at ensuring adequate implementation of its policies and programmes.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kogi Enterprise Development Agency (KEDA), Alhaji Muhammed Kadiri Okeji gave the charge in a remark at a one day seminar organized by the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria in Lokoja.
Alhaji Muhammed Kadiri Okeji said for any economy to grow, SMEDAN in collaboration with the Kogi Enterprise Development Agency (KEDA) must be in place as agents of economic growth, transformation and development.
He noted that as Agencies that complements each other, it was necessary that the two works as ensuring that the people of the state are adequately empowered to foster growth in the state and called on participants to give attention to the seminar.
In a speech, the Commissioner of Commerce and Industry, Alhaji Muktar Mohammed who was represented by the Director, SME in the Ministry, Amanyi Michael advised participants to ensure strict adherence to the seminar.
