The Senator representing Kogi East at the National Assembly, Jibrin Isah-Echocho has described the ongoing voting process as peaceful.
The Senator, who made the remark after exercising his franchise at Unit One polling unit, Ajiolo Ojaji, Dekina Local Government, described the process as orderly and expressed hope for a hitch- free election.
While commending the electorate for their orderliness and peaceful conduct, the Senator also praised the electoral body and security agencies for making the atmosphere conducive.
An electorate at the polling unit, Yusuf Yahaya, expressed confidence in the ability of the electoral umpire to do their work well and the security personnel for ensure adequate security.
as at the time of filing this report, voting is still going on peacefully at the polling unit in Ajiolo Ojaji Dekina Local Government of Kogi State.
