SA Labour To Gov Ododo Urges Kogi Journalists To Market KGSG

Media professionals in Kogi State have been urged to market Kogi State in order to justify the good works of the present administration.

Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Labour Matters, Comrade Onuh Edoka made the call in a speech in Lokoja at the grand finale of this year’s Press Week of the state council of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ.

Comrade Edoka said the need to market the state becomes imperative in view of the new development strategies of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo whose desire is to witness a more progressive Kogi State.

He admonished journalists in the state to portray the state in good light while writing objectively, noting that there is already a departure from the past administrations, especially within the labour cycle.

The Special Adviser on Labour matters explained that it is the responsibility of everyone to contribute to the development of the state, saying the media is not an exception in view of its constitutional roles.

Comrade Edoka facilitated with the Kogi State Council of the NUJ on the successful press week and wished members well in all their endeavors.
