OSO Elders & Chieftaincy Director, Distributes Over 10,000 Educational Materials & Cash to Students Across Kogi West In Support Of Ododo/Joel Mandate.

As part of his efforts to galvanize Parents support for Ododo/ Joel Mandate, OSO Director, Directorate of Elders & Chieftaincy Affairs, High Chief Hon. Lee M.O. has donated over 10,000 Educational Materials to Ododo Support Organisation, OSO for onward distribution to Teachers & Staff of Primary & Secondary Schools across Kogi West Senatorial District.

The donation/Flag-off of the distribution which took place at the famous Local Government Comprehensive Secondary School, Kabba in Kabba/Bunu Local Government had in attendance one of the Conveners of the group, Engr. Audu Ilias; the representative of the Kogi State Commissioner of Information & Communication, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo; Director General of OSO, Engr. Suleiman Aminu Adaira; amongst other top Government functionaries from Kogi West Senatorial District.

In his welcome address, Hon. Lee stated that the gesture is part of his own way of saying “Thank You” to the current Government ably led by his Political Icon and model, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello; and in doing so, rallying support and canvass for votes for the APC Candidate in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state.

“The best way to appreciate my mentor and icon is to continually rally efforts and mobilize support and votes for the APC Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his running mate, Comrade Joe Oyibo for the forthcoming governorship election in Kogi State”.

Hon. Lee urged the good people of Kogi West Senatorial District to look beyond sentiments and join the winning team, stating that the realization of Okun Ambition shall only be realized through APC Train ably captained by Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.

He implored his people to vote massively for the APC candidate, describing him as someone that “Know Road”.

In his remark, the visibly elated Director General of the Ododo Support Organisation (OSO), Engr. Suleiman Aminu Adaira described Hon. Lee as a good ambassador of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, whom he described as an astute educationist and a lover of Education.

Engr. Adaira congratulated Hon. Lee Usman on what he termed as “Complementary Support” to the Governor in his pursuit to revolutionize the educational sector of the state, especially at the Primary and Secondary level.

The Director General, in company of key Directors of the organisation who were visibly astonished by the level of commitment of the Donor, promised to relay all they have seen to their Principal and incoming Governor.

In his words: “I, on behalf of the Organisation thank you, Hon. Lee for being a good ambassador of His Excellency and OSO. His Excellency can best be described as an astute educationist because his level of passion for educating Kogites is second to none. I consider this effort of yours as a complementary support to the drive of His Excellency to revolutionize the Primary and Secondary School education in the state – as portrayed in the GYB Model schools across the state and the free education policy by the administration”.

The OSO DG stated further : “We have seen your level of commitment to this course – it is self-evident going by all the testimonies shared by your people. You have shown that you have His Excellency at heart, and you have shown that you have our principal and the incoming Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo at heart. We shall relay the same to the Incoming Governor – In shaa Allah. May God bless you, May Politics be kind to you just as you have shown kindness to your people” – the OSO Boss prayed.

Speaking on the significance of the event, the Convener of OSO, Engr. Audu Ilias stated that the materials, when distributed, would give the Organisation an opportunity to physically appreciate teachers and interact with students to influence their family, guardians and wards on the need to embrace and vote for the APC candidate as the next Governor of Kogi State.

Engr. Audu stated that other members of OSO, just as Hon. Lee, are working round the clock across the state to ensure victory for the APC Governor candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his running mate, Comrade Salifu Joel Oyibo in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state.

The Convener also said in his address that the Organisation is lucky by arraying vibrant men and women such as High Chief Hon. Lee Olorunmonla Usman in the Senatorial District, who has one singular interest and goal of ensuring that the entire Kogi West Senatorial district is locked up for the APC candidate in the coming election.

Engr. Audu disclosed that OSO Members across the state have done remarkably in the series of other campaign activities carried out in various domains to ensure collective victory for the Ododo/Joel Mandate in the Kogi State Governorship election come 11/11 Nov 2023.

Also speaking at the event, the representative of the Honourable Commissioner for Information & Communication, Comrade Babatunde John Fanwo expressed the deep appreciation of the Honourable Commissioner to the Donor, Hon. Lee Usman, describing him as an astute “political grass-rooter and a philanthropist to the core”. The Commissioner disclosed that the educational materials being donated would go a long way in creating awareness and sensitization for the people at the grassroots in Kogi West on the lofty qualities and capacity of the APC candidate to take education in Kogi state to an enviable height.

Hon. Fanwo acknowledged the commitment of the Organisation in canvassing for votes for the APC candidate, describing OSO campaign model as a model to reckon with in the political history of the state.

The Commissioner showered praises on the Conveners, Director General and all principal members of the Organisation for a campaign well-done and urged the Organisation to continue being a good ambassador of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

High point of the event was the distribution of branded exercise books and cash to the representatives of over Thirty (30) selected Primary & Secondary Schools Students in Kabba Bunu, Ijumu, Mopa-Muro, Yagba East and Yagba West Local Government Areas.
