One Year In Office: Ohiezu Commissions Projects, Empowers Eighty-two

The Chairman of Ogori-Magongo Local Government, Mrs Rosemary Ohiezu in a bid to strengthen security and agriculture in the area has distributed communication apparatus to security agents and farm tools to farmers.

Mrs Ohiezu while inaugurating the security post said it is meant to shelter security agents on patrol.

“I am a kind of person that love peace and my main targets is on security and agriculture which prompted the building of security post along Magongo Okene axis of the area”Mrs Ohiezu.

Also to enhance communication among the security agents the Chairman distributed communication apparatus also known as walkie talkie to all security outfits in the Local Government.

According to her, to ensure security of farms and farmers she has also ensued that all Fulani herdsmen grazing in the land are registered and given identification card and jackets.

“In Ogori-Magongo I have enjoyed support from everyone, my counselors, traditional rulers, security operatives, youths , women among others”.

In a way of appreciation to the support received from the people, the chairman has empowered eighty- two persons with farm implements and cash.

“Working as a female chairman, I had no limitations as I always have people rallying round me to achieve my goals”
” This one year God has been faithful to me”. I appreciate Him and the leaders He has placed ahead of me”. The Chairman noted.
