Ofu LG Boss Commends Eje Ofu For His Fatherly Role,Promises To Ensure Security In The Area

The Care taker Chairman, Ofu Local Government Council, Hon.Hassan Sani Atawodi has commended the Ejeh Ofu and Chairman Ofu Traditional Council, HRH Alhaji Dr Akwu Obaje for his fatherly advice and his efforts in making sure that Ofu Local Government is safe for all.

Hon Hassan who gave the commendation at Ugwolawo, while paying a homage to the Ejeh in his palace, said that the efforts of traditional rulers in combating the security challenges in the Local level can not be over emphasised, saying that he will continue to seek his HRH’s advice in a away to move Ofu Local Government forward.

Hon Atawodi called on the people of Ofu Local Government Area to be law abiding citizens, adding that the administration of Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo is ready to deliver the dividend of democracy to the People of the land.

Earlier, the Ejeh Ofu and Chairman Ofu Traditional Council, HRH Alhaji Dr Akwu Obaje, applauded the Chairman, Hon.Hassan Sani Atawodi for his dogged approach in fighting the security challenges in Ofu Local Government Area, noting that he will continue to stand with the Chairman until Ofu is totally secured.

Dr Akwu Obaje warned those that are bent on making troubles one way or the other in the land to desist, saying that the administration of Hon.Hassan Atawodi will not tolerate trouble makers in this Local Government.

In a remarks, the Senior Special Advisers to the Chairman on Special Duties, Hon Siaka Alih (T M), thank both the Hon Chairman and HRH, the Ejeh Ofu for their cooperation in making sure that the people of Ofu Local Government live in peace and harmony, he added that this administration will not fail the people of the area.
