The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Youths and Student Affairs, Comrade Oladele John Nihi says Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is building rapidly on the foundation laid by his successor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
Comrade Nihi stated this while speaking on this week’s edition of State of Kogi, a Radio Kogi Audience Participatory Programme.
The remarkable achievements of the present administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has continued to receive commendation from all and sundry both within and outside the State.
The latest is from the Governor’s Aide, Comrade Oladele John Nihi, the Special Adviser on Youth and Student Affairs, who said Youths have gotten seventy percent of appointment of the present administration.
According to him, issues of percentage salaries have now become a thing of the past with Workers at both the State and Local Government levels, getting their salary as at when due.
He pointed out that plans are on to empower youths in the State, saying the commencement of payment of bursary to students in tertiary institution has reached ninety percent.
Comrade Nihi maintained that the law establishing Kogi State Scholarship Board has been reviewed to offer better service to students of the State origin.
The Special Adviser noted that the nation cannot progress except the people return to Agriculture, stressing the need for value reorientation in a bid to tackle internet fraud.
Comrade Nihi commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for having youths at heart and approval of the National Youth Confab which according to him, will proffer solution to challenges confronting the young generation.
