As Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and Deputy Governor Joel Salifu mark their one-year anniversary in office, the Kogi State government is celebrating a year of transformative leadership and unprecedented development. To commemorate this milestone, a novelty match was held today at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja, featuring members of the State Executives and the State House of Assembly.
The match, which ended in a goalless draw, showcased the determination and endurance of both teams, as well as the unity, cooperation, and sportsmanship between the two branches of government. Led by Deputy Governor Joel Salifu and Speaker Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar, the teams demonstrated their commitment to working together for the betterment of Kogi State.
