Northern Governors Forum: Gov Ododo Joins Force to Tackle Region’s Pressing Challenges

The  Governor of Kogi State, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State today joins the 19 Northern States Governors Forum meeting, taking place at Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House in Kaduna State to address the the pressing Reginal challenges.

The Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu, in attendance on behalf of the Governor was accompanied by Dr. Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade, Secretary to the Government of Kogi State.

The forum aims to address pressing regional issues, including insecurity, out-of-school children, poverty, and socio-economic challenges. This gathering is part of the Forum’s proactive approach to engage stakeholders and tackle urgent concerns.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, Chairman of the Forum, is leading the meeting, hosted by Governor Uba Sani the Governor of Kaduna State.

Other attendees include governors from Nasarawa, Zamfara, Adamawa, Kwara, Borno, and Bauchi states, as well as Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa.

Prominent traditional rulers are also present, such as the Sultan of Sokoto, Shehu of Borno, Emir of Zazzau, and Ohinoyi of Ebira land.

Through collaborative efforts, the Northern Governors Forum is poised to drive transformative change and improve the lives of Citizens
