Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo says his vision is to improve the welfare of citizens of the state.
Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo stated this in a message while receiving Kogi Stride Magazine Crew Lead by the Commissioner of Information and Communications Kingsley Fanwo in his Office at the Government House, Lokoja.
The Governor represented by his Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu said his administration is all about the people and development of the state.
Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo maintained that more welfare package is outlined for the people of the state stressing that information is power.
He Commended the Commissioner Kingsley Fanwo for earlier visiting Radio Kogi Ochaja station after the vandalization describing him as information ambassador of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Governor Ododo said he will give assistance to the Magazine, The Kogi Stride Magazine to assist the Crew in diseminating information and educating the people at the Grass roots and the state on the accurate activities of the state government.
Earlier The state Commissioner of Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo said the aim of the visit is to present the magazine titled Kogi Stride Magazine to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the purpose of record keeping.
The commissioner said the nomination of the Joel Salifu as an indication of good things going to happen to civil servants in the state by the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The commissioner maintained that the purpose of the magazine is for proper record keeping and documentation of government’s activities in the state.
