The Caretaker Chairman of Mopamuro LGA, Mr. Ademola Bello Destiny has flagged off the distribution of textbooks and other instructional materials.
While flagging of the distribution at the Council Secretariat the Caretaker Committee Chairman charged the students to make use of the textbooks and ensure that they take their studies seriously.
Mr.Ademola Bello said for any society to develop, Education have a vital role to play and praised the the Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for giving education a top priority.
He described the governor as an Education friendly governor.
In his remark, the supervisor of Education, Mr.Dare Elaga commend the council boss for the giant strides recorded in education sector within his Short term in office.
He praised Mr Ademola Bello for giving scholarships to indigent students in the area.
Other speakers who spoke at the event commended the council boss for his interest in the development of Mopamuro and giant strides recorded within just two months in office.
