The All Progressive Congress (APC) campaign grand finale in Bassa Local Government Area witnessed thousands of supporters in Oguma the Bassa Local Government Headquarters on Thursday for Saturday’s Council Polls in Kogi State,
The people of Bassa Local Government Area from the nooks and crannies of the area flood Oguma in solidarity and support to the candidate of the party, Theophillus Adama which they best described as the Messiah of the land.
Those who spoke to our reporter said the large turn out demonstrated the people’s willingness to queue behind Honourable Theophilus Daruwana Adama at the weekend.
The All Progressive Congress (APC) party Chairman in the Local Government Area, Abdulmumin Abdulahi Umar in a remark thanked the teaming supporters of Theophilus Daruwana Adama for their turnout and urged them to vote overwhelming on for the victory of Theophillus Adama on Saturday.
The Chairman of the Campaign Council, Muktar Shauibu who is also the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, appreciated the people for their continued and unalloyed support for the party and its candidate, Theophilus Adama.
He pointed out that, the justification of the support during the campaigns should be displayed on the 19th October by massively voting for Theophilus Daruwana Adama.
Muktar also highlighted some of the achievements of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo which he said are core objectives in supporting his political son, Theophilus Daruwana Adama.
Mr Bako Shigaba, a former Chairman of the Local Government Area while seeking support of the people charged Theophilus Daruwana Adama and his Vice, Aisha Aliyu Idris not to disappoint the people but deliver as expected.
Bako Shigaba also appealed to the ten Councillorship Candidates in the Local Government Area to reach out to the people in their various Wards when they emerged victorious.
The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) in the area, Comrade Ahmodu Adamu, the APC Ward Chairmen, the SSAs to the Governor, Ward Special Assistants and Local Government Special Assistants to the Governor among other dignitaries assured the APC Chairmanship candidate their support.
In a remark the APC Chairmanship candidate, Theophilus Daruwana Adama and his Vice, Aisha Idris Aliyu appreciated the thousands of people for their overwhelming support and promised the people that they will up to their expectation and benefit of the people.
Highlight of the campaigns were traditional songs and dance from women groups and individuals soliciting support for the APC Chairmanship candidate, Theophillus Adama.
