The branch chairman of Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Mopamuro chapter, Comrade Gbenga Joseph has called on sons and daughters of the Area both home and diaspora to support the candidature of Hon. Ademola Bello Destiny as the next Chairman of the Local Government.
Comrade Joseph made the call during an interview with Newsmen in Lokoja.
He said Mopamuro LGA has never had it so good till the coming on board of Hon Ademola Bello Destiny.
The union leader commended the council boss for making staff welfare a top priority.
He praised the caretaker chairman for releasing funds to staff during monthly environmental cleaning at the council secretariat.
The union leader said what the council boss had done in the last seven months is unprecedented and called on all to give maximum support to Hon Ademola Bello Destiny.
The union leader commended the council boss for connecting the council secretariat to national grid, rehabilitation of the motorized boreholes at the council secretariat, grading and regrading of rural roads, fair and equitable distribution of palliatives to the people of Mopamuro LGA, renovation of markets in the area.
Prince Gbenga Joseph also described the council boss as humble and God fearing.
“Recent the caretaker chairman Hon Ademola Bello Destiny descend so low and humble to the extent of cleaning and clearing grasses with his staff at the council secretariat during the last environmental cleaning at the council secretariat”
The union leader also commended the leadership of the APC for endorsing Hon Ademola Bello Destiny for the forth coming local government election.
