The National Youth Council of Nigeria haa passed a vote of confidence on the Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Hon Monday A Anyebe.
The state chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria Comrade Benjamin Ojodale Jeremiah announced this when he led the state leadership of the council in the Twenty One local Government Area to the office of the Commissioner in Lokoja.
Comrade Benjamin Ojodale Jeremiah said for the months the Commissioner assumed office he has demonstrated quality leadership which has enhanced the growth and development of the Youth in the state.
Comrade Benjamin thanked the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Hon Monday A Anyebe for his open door policy stating that it is impressive and worthy of note.
He said their interactions with the commissioner for the youth Inclusiveness in the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is friendly saying this necessitated the leadership of NYCN in the state to pass vote of confidence on the Commissioner.
The chairman on behalf of the leadership of the council expressed appreciation to the Commissioner for his quality leadership and commitment to the growth and progress of the youth in the state.
He pledged their support to the administration of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and appealed to the Commissioner not to relent in his efforts, by carrying them along in the scheme of things.
In their separate remarks, Apostle.Ali Sunday and Boss Mustapha Ismail both from the state council of the NYCN described the efforts of the Commissioner towards empowerment so far as commendable and assured of their total support and loyalty to the government of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Responding, the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Hon Monday A Anyebe said the Government of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is a Government of the people and for the people saying on behalf of the Governor he will continue to ensure Youth in the state shall benefit More from the present administration.
Hon. Monday A Anyebe said a lot of programmes are on the way by the present Government that will be beneficial to the youth, adding that when the programmes begins to unfold the youth and the people of the state will be happy.
The Commissioner said the vote of confidence passed on him by the state leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria will spur him to do more with the support of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to carry them along in the scheme of things.
He called on them to continue to support the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for more dividend of democracy in the state.
Hon. Monday A Anyebe thanked the NYCN leadership in the state for the visit and and restated his continued commitment and dedication to their welfare at all times.
