Kogi Works Commissioner Receives New State Immigration Boss, Promises Synergy In The Global Fight Against Insecurity

Kogi State commissioner for works Hon. Engr. Muhammed Ahovi Yusuf has promised synergy with the Nigerian Immigration Service to fight against global insecurity

Hon. Muhammed stated this in Lokoja while receiving the team of the State Comptroller of Immigration MC Monyei

The commissioner who noted that synergy is the only way to curb the growing rate of global insecurity also revealed the importance of inter-governmental collaboration in resolving security crises within the country.

“We give thanks to the Almighty Allah for sparing our lives till today, and also for making this meeting a success. I equally appreciate this gesture from you. It is indeed a good thing to have a harmonious relationship between the government and the security agencies to facilitate peaceful living and a safer environment for the citizens.

Words aren’t enough to appreciate the good work you have been doing in the state. Please keep it up; as we keep praying to God to grant you the strength and wherewithal to keep functioning well.

Lastly, I want to congratulate and welcome the new commandant to our Noble state. The reward for a job well done is more work. May the Lord grant you the corresponding wisdom to pilot the affairs of this agency for the betterment of the entire citizenry. Thank you and God bless you as you depart to your office.” He said.

Responding , the new Kogi State Immigration Boss MC Monyei thanked the commissioner and the ministry for their warm reception.
