Kogi State Police Command says it will continue to protect the lives and property of kogi Citizens.
Commissioner of Police, Bethrand Onuoha, disclosed this when he received the Vice Chancellor, Kogi State University Kabba and Management Team at the Command Headquarters, Lokoja.
CP Onuoha, who said it is the responsibility of the Command to protect lives, assured that the Command will continue to give it maximum support and cooperation to the University.
He reiterated the commitment of the Command to respond to University Security demands at all times, saying that the Police is out to serve the good people of the State.
He expressed his unreserved appreciation to the Vice Chancellor and the Management Team for the visit, promising its unwavering commitment to Security in the University .
In a remark, Vice Chancellor, Kogi State University Kabba, Professor Kehinde Eniola said they were at the Command Headquarters to seek for a robust working relationship between Kogi State Police Command and the University.
He solicited for more support and collaboration from the Police in providing adequate Security for the University and its environs.
Professor Eniola commended the Police and other Security agencies for the peaceful conduct of the just concluded Governorship Election.
The meeting afforded the University Management and the Command the opportunity to discuss various measures and strategies that will further enhance the University’s Security architecture.
