Kogi State Governor-Elect Promises to Run Administration That Will Sustain Legacies of Alhaji Yahaya Bello

The Kogi State Governor-Elect, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has promised to run an administration that will sustain the legacies of Alhaji Yahaya Bello and bring the best to bear in the administration of the state.

Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo made the promise while reacting to his declaration as winner of the Governorship election in Lokoja.

The Governor- elect expressed his appreciation to President Ahmed Tinubu for laying a solid foundation for democracy to be sustained in the country and promised to work for the state.

He thanked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for a good job and called on other contestants in the race to join hands with him to consolidate on the achievement of the state Governor for more dividends of democracy in the state.

The Governor- elect said his victory at the polls has sealed a pact with democracy and good governance and promised to devote himself to bringing prosperity, growth and development to every nooks and crannies of the state .

Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo commended the Governor Yahaya Bello for his leadership roles and pledged his unalloyed support even after office.

Earlier, Governor Yahaya Bello appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Chairman of the Party, Alhaji Abdulahi Ganduje party stalwart, stakeholders, supporters and the electorate for bringing the struggle to fruition.

He also expressed happiness that he is going to leave the state better than he met it and bequeathing it to a capable hand.

Earlier, in an interview the INEC National Commissioner to Kogi Professor Adam Isah thanked the President , Governor and security agents for providing an enabling environment for the Commission to carry out their job without hitches.
