This year’s annual General meeting of the University of Maiduguri Alumni Association kogi state branch comes up on Friday.
A statement by the caretaker committee chairperson and secretary Comrade Habibatu Shuaibu Onakpa Abdallah and Baristar Akor Joshua Ilemona in lokoja said the meeting will be held at the professor Idachaba Lecture Theater, Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba beginning at nine o’clock in the morning.
According to the statement, the Congress is expected to among other things inaugurate the committee to handle the affairs of the association pending when election will be conducted as the tenure of the present executives led by Doctor Innocent Patrick Alfa has ended.
The Congress will also address other issue bedeviling the association for amicable resolution.
It enjoined members to find time out of their tight schedule and attend the meeting as crucial matters will be discussed.
