Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation is to partner with Majesty Movies International and Black wall street to Showcase upcoming Artistes in the state.
Director-General of the Corporation, Alhaji Ojo-Oyila Ozovehe stated this in a message to the visit of State officials of the group in his office in Lokoja.
The Director-General represented by the Director Commercial Services, Hajia Nana-Hauwa Yusuf said it is commendable that the organization was supporting the discovery of talents.
Alhaji Ojo-Oyila said the Corporation will continue will collaborate with Kogi Blazing Mic Talent Hunts to showcase upcoming artistes in the state.
According to the Director-General the creative industry in the country has given opportunity to millions of youths in different areas such as in music, movie and arts in the creative industry.
He maintained that youths, having the largest population are being taken out of the streets and nurtured for greatness.
The Director-General said the Corporation has always been in the fore front of encouraging youths to engage in the creative industry to showcase their talents.
Earlier, the Managing Director Majesty West African Limited, Alhaji Muhammed Aleru said Black Wall Street Entertainment is an International organization in the creative industry with over twenty years experience.
According to him, the vision of the group is getting the Youths off the street through identifying , harnessing and developing natural talents in the entertaning industry in the country.
Alhaji Muhammed maintained that the purpose of the visit was to seek the corporation’s assistance in publicizing of the body’s activities.
Also in attendance during the visit was the Monitoring and evaluation Manager, Mr Paul Igboke , representative of Black wall street entertainment and the Director Programmes department in the corporation, Hajia Habibat Umar were in attendance.
