Kogi SGS Office Train Clerical, Registry Staff, Warns Against Breach of Secrecy

A one-day in-house training has been conducted for Clerical and Registry Staff of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State.

 

The SGS, Mrs. Folashade Ayoade while declaring the training open said Government is taking proactive steps to enhance the capacity of its personnel.

 

According to Mrs. Ayoade, the training was aimed at sharpening their service delivery skills, assuring the readiness of the Government to train and retrain staff.

She noted that Governor Chief Ahmed Usman Ododo, is committed to exposing personnel to training and retraining programmes to keep them updated on effective and efficient service delivery.

 

While commending the Registry Staff for good conduct, the SGS also emphasized the importance of upholding the oath of secrecy, warning that any breach will be met with severe punishment.

 

She said, to ensure the participants’ engagement, an examination will be set, and the outcome will determine those selected for further training at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON).

 

The SGS emphasized the benefits of hard work, dedication and loyalty to constituted authority saying it never goes unrewarded.
