The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs. Folashade Ayoade has donated food items to widows to enable them celebrate the forthcoming Christmas.
Mrs. Ayoade during the distribution exercise held at her official resident enjoined the widows to continue to put their trust in God.
It is no longer news that the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs. Folashade Ayoade under her Non Governmental Organisation, Folashade Ayoade Initiative for Widows and Orphans has been reaching out to the less privileged in the State.
The Forthcoming yuletide is not an exemption as she distributed food items such as Rice, yam flour, garri, salt, seasoning, cash as well as clothing.
The SGS told the widows to be thankful and be hopeful of better days ahead, saying God will never neglect them as special people in the society.
According to her, the continuous support to widows and Orphans through her NGO, is her way of fulfilling the instructions of God to reach out to the needy.
Mrs. Ayoade urged them to pray for their Children and the present administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to enable him sustain the good job he is currently doing.
She promised to continue to use her lifetime to serve God and humanity and felicitated with the widows on the yuletide season.
Some of the widows, Mrs. Comfort James and Mrs. Comfort Tolufase expressed appreciation to the SGS for her usual generosity and prayed God to reward her.
