Kogi State Head of Service, Dr. Elijah Evinemi has felicitated with the workers on the occasion of 2025 International Workers’ Day,
Dr Evinemi, in a statement in Lokoja, extended warm greetings and heartfelt appreciation to all civil servants in the State.
“This year, we celebrate the resilience, dedication, and unwavering commitment of our workforce which serves as the engine that drives governance and public service”
He said the workforce’s steadfastness in upholding the principles of professionalism, integrity, and excellence in service delivery is commendable and deeply appreciated.
“As we mark this significant day, let me reassure you that the Governor Ahmed Ododo-led administration remains committed to promoting the welfare, training, and capacity development of our workforce.”
Dr Evinemi said the office of the head of service will continue to work closely with relevant stakeholders to create a more enabling environment where every civil servant can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the development of the State.
He urged all workers to use this day as a reminder of the strength of unity, the value of hard work, and the power of a shared vision for a better Kogi State.
