The Senator representing Kogi East Senator Isah Jibrin (Echocho), has taking a significant steps to improve educational standard in Kogi East, by providing vital educational materials to public schools across his senatorial district.
The Senator’s gesture is to complement the educational policy of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration, and to support pupils in public schools and encourage the teachers to teach in conducive learning environment.
Among the materials provided to the schools are
double detached School desks and chairs,
exercise books, pencils and erasers.
The Senator equally supplied sharpeners, whiteboards, markers, mathematical sets, calculators, teacher’s and visitor’s tables, among others.
The Chairman of the Forum of Education Secretaries in Kogi East,Mr. Shehu M. Ebune,who received the materials on behalf of the schools expressed gratitude to Senator Isah Jibrin, for his generous donation, assuring that the materials are needed at this time to advance the learning situation of the students in Kogi East.
