Kogi State contingents have arrived in Asaba for the twenty twenty-five National Youth Games.
Over one hundred athletes from the state completed their screening ahead of the competition.
The National Sports Commission says six thousand, three hundred and eighty-two athletes and officials will take part in the Games.
The event will be held in Asaba, Delta State, from tomorrow to September sixth.
All thirty-six states and the Federal Capital Territory are represented after a digital registration process.
The nine-day event will feature thirty-seven sports, including athletics, football, basketball, and other lesser-known games aimed at encouraging participation and talent discovery.
The Commission says the Games are not just about medals, but also about promoting unity, discipline, and resilience among Nigerian youth.
