Kogi Commissioner For Youth And Sports, Monday Anyebe Solicits Support Of Kogi NUJ

The Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Mr Monday Anyebe has promised to Collaborate with the State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists to boost coverage of the activities of the ministry.

Mr Anyebe made the promise today during a familiarization visit to the NUJ Press Centre in Lokoja.

The visit of the commissioner aims at building a working relationship with the media to enhance better coverage of the ministry.

Mr Anyebe noted that his ministry has several youth and sports activities lined up and needs the media’s support to achieve set goals.

While emphasizing the importance of the collaboration, the commissioner revealed the ministry’s preparation ahead of the upcoming National Sports Festival, assuring that Kogi athletes will be fully involved.

The Commissioner thanked Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his support for youth and sports development, pledging his loyalty and commitment to the administration.

In his response, the NUJ Chairman, Comrade Seidu Ademu, praised the Commissioner for the visit.

He said the union is ready to support the ministry in its efforts to develop youth and sports in the state.

The visit marks the beginning of a stronger partnership between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the media in Kogi State.
