Kogi State chapter of the All Progressive Congress has constituted Screening and Appeal Committees For The 2024 Local Government Areas Elections.
A statement by the State Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello advised those appointed to come for the Inauguration of the Committee on Wednesday (7-08-2024)
The statement noted that the Inauguration will take place at the APC State Secretariat in Lokoja at twelve noon.
It explained that the Screening/Appeal Committees were put in place to scrutinize the documents/credentials of the Councillorship and Chairmanship aspirants of the party in preparation for the 2024 Local Government Area Election slated for the 19th of October, 2024.
“I wish to inform you that you have been appointed as one of the members of the Screening/Appeal Committees charged with the responsibility of scrutinizing the documents/credentials of the Councillorship and Chairmanship aspirants of our great party in our preparation for the 2024 Local Government Area Election slated for the 19th of October, 2024” the statement noted.
Those to be inaugurated have already been contacted.
