KGSG Graduates 250 Artisans In Various Skills Acquisition

Kogi State Government is to Graduates Two hundred and fifty Artisans in various Skills Acquisition.

Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs Mr Sunday Faleke stated this while featuring in this week’s edition of state of Kogi an audience participatory programme on Radio Kogi Lokoja.

Mr Faleke said the graduation ceremony of the two hundred and fifty Youths across the twenty one local government trained under the Ododo Youths Empowerment and Skill Acquisition Programme (OYESAP) through the Ministry of Special Duties And Inter Governmental Affairs would take place on Saturday in Lokoja.

The Commissioner praised Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo for the innovative approach to tackling unemployment and reducing crime rates in the state.

He highlighted the programme’s potential to create a comprehensive database of skilled workers, which could lead to cost savings for the state through increased availability of local expertise.

The Commissioner explained that the cohorts which is expected to commence shortly after the graduation will explore more skills that will engage persons with Special needs in the state stressing that Governor Ahmad Usman Ododo has soft spot for them.

Mr Faleke explained that the Ministry was established to oversee special assignments and to enhance inter-governmental relations among various levels of government promising not to relent in his efforts to deliver the mandate of the present administration.

Mr Faleke called on sons and daughters of the state to come back home to invest in the society that made them as the present administration was working on the mandate that would out live this generation.

Governor Ahmad Usman Ododo has always prioritize need assessment of the people and giving needed attention to addressing them, notably are various Local roads rehabilitation.

Mr Faleke also appreciated the Monitoring and evaluation team of his ministry for their support and cooperation in the cause of the OYESAP training.

He called on the people to support Governor Ahmad Usman Ododo with one voice and prayer to serve them and take Kogi to greater heights.
