As the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Bassa Local Government Area took its Chairmanship campaign to Gboloko Headquarters of Bassa Nge District on Wednesday, the area witnessed a total shutdown because of the massive turnout of supporters for the candidate of the party, Honourable Theophilus Daruwana Adama.

Ali (Rtd) the Etsu of Bassa Nge Kingdom to seek for royal advice and blessings in respect to his ambition.
The Etsu Bassa Nge, His Royal Majesty, Brig. Gen. Dr. Abu Ali (Rtd) while speaking highlighted some of the achievements of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo thus far and commended his leadership.
He expressed optimism that Honourable Theophilus Daruwana Adama will no doubt perform excellently as Chairman of Bassa Local Government Area because of his antecedents as the Caretaker Chairman.
The Traditional ruler prayed for Honourable Theophilus Daruwana Adama and the ten Councillorship candidates of the APC in the Local Government Area.
Honourable Muktar Shauibu, the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry who also doubles as the Director General of the Campaign, Honourable Alhassan Salisu Adekeke, the Deputy Director General of the Campaign, Honourable Engr. Nda Mohammed and the hosts of others who spoke on the campaign ground told the people of Bassa Nge District that they have come to present to them a credible candidate, that will reach out to the people of the Local Government to address their needs.
The campaign in Gboloko witnessed thousands of decampees who were represented by their leaders in various districts and units.
The defefectors were led by a former Chairman of Bassa Local Government Area, Honourable Ishiaqu Ajegu who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Ishiagu who spoke on behalf of the defectors pledged their total commitment and loyalty to the All Progressive Congress (APC) and its vision for the Local Government and State.
Honourable Theophilus Daruwana Adama in his short speech, thanked the people of Bassa Nge District for their turn out and massive support for the progressive movement.
Honourable Theophilus Daruwana Adama assured the people that he will never disappoint them but rather bring the dividends of democracy to their doorsteps.
