Imbibe Lessons  During Ramandan – Kogi Assembly Clerk to Muslim Faithful

Muslim faithful in Kogi State have been enjoined to allow the lessons learnt during the holy month of Ramadan reflect in their day to day life.

The Clerk of Kogi State House of Assembly and Head of Legislative Service, Alhaji Chogudo Ahmed Sule made the call in Lokoja in his message to mark eid-el-fitr celebration with Muslim faithfuls.

In a statement signed and released to the press by the Head of Information Department of Kogi State House of Assembly, Idowu Aliu, Chogudo congratulated all Muslims on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan.

He said the unity, peace and togetherness demonstrated during the fasting if sustained would improve the harmonious coexistence amongst the people and strengthen the course for a prosperous nation which every citizen of the country yearns for.

According to him, the one month Ramadan has exposed every Muslim to the tenents of Islam as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad to live a victorious and successful life on earth ,just as he advised against anything that could take away the values learnt during the month.

Chogudo emphasized the need for all and sundry to remain supportive of the present administration under the leadership of Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo in his quest to ensure good governace in the state as well as other political leaders who work tirelessly to make life better for the people.

While wishing every Muslim faithful a happy eid-el-fitr celebration, Chogudo appealed to them to reach out to the less privileged in the society.
