The Caretaker Chairman Ankpa Local Government, Engr Adamu Yahaya Mohammed has congratulated Mallam Ibrahim Zekeri on his appointment as the national president Okenyi Development Association (ODA).
Engineer Adamu stated this during the official presentation of the congratulatry letter to the ODA president at the chairman’s office at Ankpa.
Engr Yahaya represented by the member Kogi State House of Assembly representing Ankpa 1 constituency Hon. Lawal Akus said the appointment is an added responsibility and opportunity to serve the people stressing that any leadership is unto servanthood which must be done in humility and diligence to carry the people along in equity and fairness.
Responding, the national president Okenyi Development Association (ODA) Mallam Ibrahim Zekeri expressed his gratitude to the caretaker chairman, Engr Adamu Yahaya Mohammed, the member kogi state house of assembly representing Ankpa 1 constituency Hon. Lawal Akus for the kind gesture, which he said is an encouragement to him.
He promised to put in his best in ensuring the sustainability of peace and development of Okenyi and Ankpa Local Government Area.
