Housing Development: Kogi State Government to Partner with Nigerian Institute Of Building — Hon. Abanika Taiye

The Kogi State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abanika Taiye has assured the state chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Building of the Kogi State Government’s support and continued partnership.

Hon. Abanika Taiye gave the assurance in Lokoja on Monday 11/03/2024 while receiving the state executives of the Institute who came to intimate him on the need for support and continued partnership and to also inform him of their 2024 Builders week

Hon. Abanika said the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has a total passion for quality service delivery in all sectors of the state adding that under the able leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, his Ministry would work with the Builders of the State for the progress and growth of the state especially in infrastructural technology.

The Commissioner commended the Team for putting themselves together to ensure the standard of building infrastructure in the state and charged the Institute not to relent in their efforts to make sure Standards were exacted to the building facilities in the State.

Speaking, the state chairperson of the Nigerian Institute of Building, Builder Modupe Obafemi said the aim of their visit was to inform the State Government of their 2024 Week which commenced today and the need for partnership and support.

Builder Modupe who unveiled the theme of this year’s Builders Week as “The Role of the Builders in Sustainable Housing Delivery” also commended Hon. Abanika for their warm reception.

She further called on the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to carry them along in the scheme of things for the growth and development of the state.

As part of the activities for 2024 Builders Day, the association visited Federal University Lokoja to see the level of their project so far and other project sites in the state.
