The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo has congratulated the Governor of the state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and the entire Muslims on the celebration of Eid El Kabir.
Fanwo gave this congratulatory message while having a chat with a group of journalists in his residence.
The Commissioner described Eid El Kabir as a period to offer acceptable sacrifice to Allah just as Prophet Ibrahim did, based on Allah’s command noting that Eid El Kabir symbolizes faith, love, obedience, patience and worship.
He admonished the Muslims and other citizens to reflect on and imbibe the essence of sacrifice and humility for the harmonious relationship that would bring unbroken unity, peace, progress, growth and rapid development to the state and the country.
Fanwo reiterated Governor Ododo’s unwavering commitment towards revolutionary development in all sectors of the state, urging the good citizens of Kogi State to give their necessary cooperation to him for rapid growth and giant stride development.
