Governor Ododo Is Committed To Workers Welfare – S.A.Labour Tells SEC of Medical And Health Workers Union

Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Labour Matters, Comrade Onuh Edoka has urged members of the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria to work for the growth of the union.

Comrade Edoka made the appeal at a Special session of the State Executive Council, SEC, of the union in Lokoja.

He said the growth of the union should be paramount in the minds of all, stressing that recruitment process of the union should not be weakened.

Comrade Edoka called for measures that will strengthen the Medical and Health Workers Union, assuring that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s commitment to worker’s welfare remains intact.

The Special Adviser commended the State Chairman of Medical and Health Workers Union, Comrade Gabriel Amari for providing purposeful leadership, noting that peace and tranquility is needed, hence he will remain a good ambassador of the Union.

In his speech, the Chairman of the union, Comrade Gabriel Amari said the special session was to host the Special Adviser whose contributions to the growth of unionism remains outstanding.

Comrade Amari explained that Comrade Edoka was being celebrated nationwide and beyond and urged members to sustain their prayers for him and the present administration in Kogi State.
