Kogi State Governor, Governor Yahaya Bello, CON, has expressed sadness and shock over the passing of the Elulu of Mopa land and Chairman of the Mopamuro Traditional Council, Oba Julius Olufunsho Joledo (JP).
Governor Bello, who expressed grief over the loss, described Oba Joledo as a compassionate and development-focused royal father who dedicated his life to serving his people selflessly.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the family, the Mopa Traditional Council, and the entire people of Mopamuro, acknowledging the great loss they have endured.
The Governor noted the wisdom, integrity, and remarkable conflict resolution skills of the Elulu, which will be greatly missed.
Governor Bello prayed for the peaceful repose of the traditional ruler’s soul, encouraging the people to remember the era of Oba Julius Olufunsho Joledo JP as a time of peace, prosperity and urged all to continue living in harmony with one another.
Oba Julius Olufunsho Joledo JP passed on at the age of 83.
