The Special Adviser on Youth and Student Matters to the Governor of Kogi State, Comrade Oladele John Nihi has urged graduating students of the Federal Government Girls’ College, Kabba to continue to strive for excellence.
Comrade Oladele John Nihi made the appeal at the Annual Speech and Prize Giving Day of the College at Kabba at the weekend.
The Special Adviser who was also the Special Guest of Honor of the the programme used the occasion to enumerate the achievements of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in the education sector.
He restated the governor’s commitment to education noting that the various initiatives embarked upon by the present administration were aimed at improving the sector.
Comrade Oladele John Nihi also showcased the laudable programs in store for primary, secondary, and tertiary schools in the state, which he noted were being carefully developed at the Ministry of Education.
He commended the students for their outstanding achievements and donated one hundred thousand Naira to three outstanding students of the institution on behalf of the OJN Foundation.
The occasion was a testament to the importance of education and the potential of the younger generation.
