Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Labour matters, Comrade Onuh Edoka has said the one hundred days of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in office has been very eventful.
In a message of felicitation, Comrade Edoka noted that the Governor has proved himself as an exemplary leader, determined to rewrite the story of Kogi State.
He particularly noted that his attention to workers, as demonstrated through improved payment to Local Government staff, payment of hazard allowance to health workers, hundred percent payment of pensions, connection of Kogi labour house to 33KVA line, etc are some of the success stories.
Comrade Edoka also explained that the Governor’s Saturday visit to Agojeju-Odo, Ajokpachi-Odo, and Bagana in Omala local Government Area to sympathize with the people over the recent attacks on the community was first of its kind as no Governor has visited the area despite persistent crises.
The Special Adviser commended Governor Ododo for the courage and sincerity of purpose which stands him out.
Comrade Edoka assured that so far, the one hundred days in office has been very rewarding, calling on the people to put their differences apart and support the government.
The Special Adviser pledged the continued co-operation of the labour with a view to enjoying better welfare.
