Gov Ododo Inspects Projects In Kabba/Bunu LG, Reiterates Commitment to People’s Welfare

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the welfare and well-being of the people of the state.

The governor gave the assurance during an inspection tour of ongoing projects in Kabba Bunu Local Government Area.

During the visit, Governor Ododo inspected the Primary Healthcare Centers at Obado and Ayegunle Igun Bunu, where he expressed satisfaction with the progress of work.

He promised that the facilities would be equipped with modern medical equipment to ensure quality healthcare delivery to residents of the communities.

Governor ODODO said access to healthcare remains one of his administration’s top priorities, stressing that every citizen deserves quality medical attention regardless of location.

The Governor  also visited Agbadu community, where he promised to provide a transformer to restore electricity to the area, which has been in darkness for several years.

He assured residents that his government is determined to bring development to every part of Kogi State.

Addressing the issue of insecurity, the governor appealed to the youth to be vigilant and report any suspicious movement to security agencies.

According to him, tackling insecurity requires collective responsibility, as government alone cannot do it.

Earlier, His Royal Highness Tunji Olopoyo, commended Governor Ododo for his visit and for his efforts in addressing insecurity in the area.

The Traditional Ruler also appealed for the restoration of electricity in the community to enhance economic activities and improve living conditions.

Governor Ododo later visited the GYB Model Science Secondary School at Oke Bukun, where he interacted with students and teachers.

He encouraged the students to take their studies seriously, reminding them that education remains the foundation for a better future.

Governor also charged critical appointees from Kabba to provide motorized borhole in each of their community to better the live of the people of the area.

The visit turned emotional as students sang songs of praise and chanted the governor’s name in appreciation of his developmental strides, especially in the education sector.

The governor’s tour of Kabba Bunu communities reflects his administration’s ongoing efforts to improve healthcare, education, and infrastructure while fostering peace and security across Kogi State.
