Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo Declares More Support For Youth Empowerment

Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday A Anyebe has assured youths in the state of special treatment in the governance of the present administration.

Hon. Anyebe gave the assurance during a town hall meeting with Youths of All progressive Congress (APC), of Lokoja Local Government Area held in Lokoja.

The Commissioner said the present administration under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is working tirelessly to ensure the progress and development of youths in the state.

According to the Youth Commissioner, a lot of programmes have been put in place for the benefit of youths.

While appealing to youths of Lokoja Local Government to support Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to succeed, the Commissioner assured them of present administration readiness in the development of the youths.

On the issue of marginalization raised by the youths, Hon. Anyebe said the present administration will partner with them towards Youth inclusiveness in the governance of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The Commissioner assured the Youths of his dedication and commitment towards their growth and development.

He called on them to sustain their support to the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for more devidence of democracy.

Responding, the state APC Youth Leader, Mallam Muhammed Muhammed who thanked Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his support to the youths, appealed to the Governor to consider indigents sons and daughters of Lokoja Local Government Area in his cabinet.

Also speaking, Lokoja Local Government Youth Leader, Muhammed Bala Maigizo appealed to the Governor to carry them along in his scheme of things through empowerment policies and Programmes.

Highlight of the programme was a special prayer for the state Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his team for wisdom, good health, progress and development of the state.
