Directors of Local Government (DLGs) and Local Government Treasurer’s (LGTs) of the 21 Local Governments of Kogi State heartily rejoice with and congratulate the Governor-elect, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo and Deputy Governor-elect, Joel Oyibo Salifu on their resounding victory at the just concluded gubernatorial election in the state.
This is contained in a statement by the Chairman of the Forum of DLGs and LGTs, Abdullahi Salihu Ali.
The statement reads, “Undoubtedly, this well deserved victory did not come to us as a surprise in view of the fact that your emergence as the flag bearer of APC was divine, thus all hurdles will definitely bow to divine arrangements.
It is our fervent prayers that Allah will endowed the duo with strength, good health, protection and uncommon wisdom to bring happiness to the entire people of Kogi state as a continuation of the traits of your predecessor Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello.
