The Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, has greeted Muslim Ummah as they join the rest of the world to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitri and the successful completion of Ramadan.
Prince Audu’s message was conveyed in a statement signed by his Special Assistant Media, Lizzy Okoji, on Wednesday in Abuja, urging everyone to continue to live according to the essence of Ramadan: prayers, piety, and almsgiving.
The Honourable Minister called on all Nigerians to resolve to live in peace, harmony and unity and avoid actions that would put the country in a negative light and pull the nation backwards.
“I thank Almighty Allah for successfully concluding another Ramadan, a key obligation in Islam, as we would all be rewarded for our sacrifices. Ramadan has come and gone, but we must continue to live by the essence of the season without deviating.
“As compatriots, just like the Prophet Mohammed has taught us, it is important for us to live in peace, love, and unity, be our brothers and sisters keepers, and refrain from actions detrimental to our fellow citizens and Nigeria as a nation.
“Let us continue to pray for our beloved President, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, and his entire cabinet who are responsible for driving and implementing the “Renewed Hope” agenda for the betterment and development of our dear country, Nigeria.
“On behalf of my family and the entire staff and Management of the Federal Ministry of Steel Development, I wish our Muslim Ummah and Nigerians a happy Eid-el-Fitri,” Audu stated.
