The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and around the world on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
In a message delivered by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Dr. Ganduje highlighted the importance of Eid-el-Kabir as a profound reminder of the unwavering faith of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his willingness to submit to the will of Almighty Allah.
He encouraged Muslims to embody these values by embracing selflessness, generosity, and service to humanity.
“As we celebrate this sacred festival, I urge all Muslims to reflect on the true essence of Eid-el-Kabir—sacrifice, obedience to divine command, and the spirit of giving,” Dr. Ganduje said. “Let this period inspire us to show kindness to our neighbours, extend a helping hand to the less privileged, and promote unity and peace in our communities.”
He also called on Nigerians to continue praying for the peace, stability, and prosperity of the nation, especially as it continues its journey of economic recovery and development under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
Dr. Ganduje emphasized that Eid-el-Kabir serves as a celebration of sacrifice, obedience, and compassion, wishing that Almighty Allah (SWT) accepts the supplications and sacrifices of the faithful and blesses everyone with a joyous and peaceful celebration.
