DG Kogi Govt House,Dr Shaibu Oricha Advocates Unity In The Three Senatorial District Of Kogi State

Director General of Kogi State Government House Administration Alhaji Shaibu Oricha has emphasized the need for more unity in the Central Senatorial District towards attracting democracy dividends to the Area.

Alhaji Shaibu made the remark in a message to the end of the year get-together of Like Minds Club, a Group that has been carrying out humanitarian service in the Senatorial District in the last thirty years.

Represented by the Director General of the State Broadcasting Corporation, Alhaji Ojo Oyila Ozovehe, the Government House Administration Director General said unity and cooperation are necessary ingredients for achieving set goals.

He commended the people of the District for their support to the New Direction administration of Governor Yahaya Bello, urging to sustain the same for the incoming government of Alhaji Usman Ododo.

He praised the Like Minds Club for their humanitarian gestures over the years such as payment of WAEC and JAMB fees, facilitation of employment and educating the people to support government.

Alhaji Shaibu also used the occasion to call for Unity Among the three Senatorial Districts for the progress of the State.

In a presentation titled, “The Need To Build And Promote Community Cohesion,” the former State Director, National Orientation Agency, Mohammed Othman Abdullahi called for creation of employment and skill acquisition to take youths off the street.

Abdullahi enjoined Leaders to lead by example and stop promotion of clanish sentiment.

On his part, the board chairman of Kogi State Health Insurance Agency, Suberu Ariko urged members of the Club to take their health seriously and abide by medical advice.

The President of the Club, Sheidu Usman expressed gratitude to members for their support over the years and urged them to sustain the gesture in the new year.
