CUSTECH Matriculates 2133, First Set of Medical Students

About two thousand one hundred and thirty three students have been matriculated for the twenty-twenty four twenty-twenty five academic session for Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara.

Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Abdulrahaman Salawu while congratulating the students, told them to strive for academic excellence and commendable character.

He stated that the responsibility of the Institution is beyond awarding Degrees but instilling the spirit of intellectual inquiry, curiosity and resilience, urging the students to avoid social vices that are inimical to their academic pursuit.

According to Prof. Salawu, the University is  currently the fastest growing and institution of Choice in the country with students applying to the Institution from about twenty four States across the country.

He explained that the School has all it takes to deliver academic excellence, urging the students to be law abiding and obey the rules and regulations of the University.

Prof. Saluwu used the occasion to express gratitude to the State Government for creating the conducive atmosphere for the School to operate, promising not to disappoint the trust reposed in him.

On his part, the Provost, College of Medical Sciences of the University Prof. Solomon Avidime, who was elated by the first matriculation of students of the College, said the University is committed to producing Medical Experts that will add value to the State and country at large.

While some parents expressed delight with the ceremony, Matriculants promised to make the institution and their parents proud.

The high point of the ceremony was the matriculation of the first set of students of the College of Medical Sciences.
