A Kogi State High Court sitting in Lokoja has convicted, Lawal Awalu Ahmadu, 20yrs of kidnapping.
The conviction followed the arraignment of Ahmadu before Justice Fola Ajayi by the State Security Service (SSS) in October last year.
Awalu was charged on two count of conspiracy to kidnap, and kidnapping.
The Court found the Convict guilty of kidnapping five persons and collecting one million, two hundred and fifty thousand naira.
The Court explained that Ahmadu was guilty of all the charges against him and sentenced him to life imprisonment without fine.
