CORPS MEMBERS POSTED TO KOGI STATE ASSURED OF GOVERNMENT COMMITMENT TO THEIR WELFARE AND SECURITY

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo says his administration will continue to give  attention to the welfare and security to the Corps members posted to the state.

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo gave the assurance in a message during the Swearing in of the Twenty Twenty Four, Batch A Stream II Corps members deployed to the state at the Permanent Orientation Camp Asaya.

The Governor who was Represented by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Hon Monday A Anyebe said his Government would continue to support Youth orientation programmes that impact positively in various skills development.

The state Governor assured the Corps members of the excellent hospitality of government and the people of the state during and after their service year in the state.

According to the Governor, welfare and security of the people especially the Corps members are his focal point and restated his readiness to carry them along in the scheme of things.

Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo enjoined the Corps members to be security conscious in their various places of assignment and avoid unnecessary outing for safety of their lives during and after their service year.

The Governor advised them to use their remaining eleven months in service to involve themselves in NYSC scheme acquisition and entrepreneurship to develop themselves to become self relianct in their future.

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo commended the Governing Board, the NYSC Co-ordinator ,Staff and other collaborating agencies for ensuring a hitch free Orientation Course of the Corps members and advised them not to relent.

The state Coordinator of the NYSC Mr. Femi Osungbchun said over Three Thousand Corps members where deployed to the state for the National Service Corps for the orientation Camp.

Mr Femi Osungbchun advised the Corps members to take the orientation Camp exercise seriously by obeying the rules and regulations of the Camp.
