Comrade Otaru Abdulkabir Onoru-Oyiza Will Deliver As Coordinator of L-PRESS – Kogi NUAAE Chairman

Kogi State Chairman of Nigeria Union Of Agriculture and Allied Employees, (NUAAE), Comrade Olusegun Alemeru has praised Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for ensuring effective governance through the appointment of seasoned labour leaders into key positions.

In a statement in Lokoja, Comrade Alemeru noted that the appointment of a seasoned Agriculturist, Comrade Otaru Abdulkabir Onoru-Oyiza as State project Coordinator of Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project, L-PRESS would ultimately add value to the governance of the state.

According to him, Comrade Otaru has so far displayed competence, loyalty and commitment in whatever position he finds himself, hence the confidence that he would deliver.

Comrade Olusegun Alemeru commended the State servant leader for identifying key persons and labour leaders who are committed to the general growth of Kogi State.

The State NUAAE Chairman who also doubles as the Chairman, Joint Negotiating Council, expressed optimism that the agriculture sector, particularly in livestock farming will witness unprecedented growth and development under the leadership of Comrade Otaru viewing from his wealth of experience.

He assured that NUAAE in the state will give the appointee the needed support to enable him to succeed in the discharge of his new responsibilities.

“I want to use this opportunity to assure the Governor, our leader, boss and friend of the readiness of all labour leaders assigned with various responsibilities to deliver in accordance with this present government of continuity and consolidation, and I am happy that all the labour leaders he has appointed are men of proven integrity who have all it takes to lead in line with the expected mandate. I therefore, urge our friend, the new Coordinator of L-PRESS to wake up to the call and ensure he remains a good ambassador”, Comrade Alemeru stated.

Comrade Otaru Abdulkabir who was until this appointment the Special Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture, had worked in various intervention programmes, including Appeals project, Agricultural Transformation Agenda and Fadama project among others.
