China-Nigeria will work to Develop New Quality Productive Forces to Realize Aspiration of Nigerians-Says Chinese Minister Counselor

In an effort to enhance China-Africa cooperation in new Quality Productive Forces to realize high Quality Growth and also explore how to further innovate ways amd means of China-African corporation, the China Media Group CMG in collaboration with the university of Abuja host a seminar on Global Media Dialogue.

The Seminar which took place at China Cultural Center in Abuja on Monday was held against the backdrop of the Two Sessions, China’s Annual Legislative meeting, in March and the 9th FOCAC Summit to be held in Beijing later in this year.

Speaking during the Seminar, the Minister Counselor, of the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria, Wang Yingqi said China and Nigeria will continue to work together to develop New Quality with the Productive Forces and develop a new development pattern to integrate the Chinese Dream with Nigerian dreams, in order to realize the aspiration of all Nigerian for exchanges between civilizations ,peace and tranquility, common developments and better life among others

Mr. Yingqi, while mentioning the proposed Integrate resources for scientific and technological innovation of the Chinese President, Xi Jinping, said he led the development of strategic emerging industries and future industries by accelerating the formation of New Quality Productive Forces

According to him, Jinping stressed developing New Quality Productive Forces amid the country’s accelerated efforts to foster new growth-propellers and promote high quality development. With innovation playing the leading role.

He called for efforts to step up innovation, foster emerging industries, adopt forward-thinking plans for developing future-oriented industries and improve the modern industrial, not abandoning the traditional industries.

He said, “By fostering New Quality Productive Force, China hopes to develop traditional industries, making them more advanced, intelligent and environmentally friendly. This transition is of vital importance for improving productivity, efficiency and global competitiveness.”

“Nigeria is in the leading position of economic, investment and trade cooperation with China among African countries. Last year, Bilateral trade reached to $22.56 billion, China import from Nigeria reached $2.386 billion, increase 49.3% compare to that of year 2022. Investment from China reached to $363 million. Three major investment projects are Free Trade Zone and Industrial Parks in Lekki, Ogun and Shagamu.Chinese companies are also working with partners from other countries to promote international cooperation,”

In his Good-will message the Vice Chancellor of University of Abuja. Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na’Allah who commended the President of China for always bringing up the emergence of reality for helping Nigerians to benefit from projects in his country, being the second biggest economy in the world.

He said the best way to benefit from the project as African is to focus on the two major strategy of high quality growth and new productive Forces

While enjoining Nigerians to stand on the same ground and mobilize towards quality and productivity as the country’s watch dog to benefit from the emergence, he commended the Embassy for constantly working with the University of Abuja to actualize their goals and to lead innovation in the country

In his remarks, , CMG reporter, Abuja Bureau, He Beiping, who is also the organiser of the event, maintained that China’s high-quality development stage and new productive forces will bring new opportunities and space for China-Africa cooperation, noting that China and Africa will have a better future.

Beiping, who explained the purpose for the event said is to bring to the knowledge of Nigerians on the latest trends in China, which is basically on “High-Quality Development” and “New Quality Productive Forces”.

He said, “New Quality Productive Forces” proposed by this year’s Two Sessions,we have the goal of high-quality development. We must find a specific path to achieve this goal, which is to vigorously develop “New Quality Productive Forces”. In a nutshell, new quality productivity is innovation that plays a leading role. It breaks away from the traditional economic growth mode and productivity development path”

Beiping added that “the relationship between these two points and Africa, in my opinion, China’s high-quality development and New Quality Productive Forces will also bring changes and opportunities to the development of African countries.
