Parents have been charged to remain prayerful for their children to avert evil encounters.
Pastor Mrs Ajara Edibo of Jesus International Outreach Ministry, Ibaji Quarters, gave the charge during Children day of the church in Lokoja.
Pastor Mrs Edibo said the aim of the children day of the church was to pray for and anoint the children for deliverance and prepare them against evil encounters.
She advised parents to train their children in the ways of God when they are young.
Pastor Mrs Edibo also appealed to the children to always study the words of God to grow their faith in Christ as well as enable them fight spiritual battles and experience victory.
The Children Sunday’s School Teacher of the church, Miss Idara Friday Ukpong, While speaking on the benefits of obedience, said it opens the door of blessings, protects the children from destruction, creates supernaturality and causes the children to be successful.
Mis Idara enjoined the children to remain obediend to God’s instructions and their parents to enable them live long and prosper.
Highlights of the event were special prayers for the children, Bible recitation and drama presentation.
